Kwambio

Kwambio Inc. is based both in Odessa, Ukraine and in New York, US. The company specializes in 3D printing and was founded in 2013.

Volodymyr Usov, CEO and a founder of Kwambio Inc., previously started the company Gutenbergz, a digital publishing house that provides a cross-platform storytelling experience, merging beautiful design, educational data, and augmented reality with interactivity. His passion for 3D printing has been translated to his new startup business. As an owner of almost every 3D printer on the market today, he came up with the idea that there should be a dedicated simple service for creating customized and personalized products on your own 3D printer. Moreover, this service should be focused on functional and practical household items, for instance lamps, vases or book-holders, to give just a few options. The customer has full control over a range of customizable options, including color, shape, size and pattern, and also the option to add text to make a product more personal. The platform is designed to be a creative community. Users can like and share products created by others, and also follow their favorite designers to discover new unique products.

Kwambio was previewed at the London 3D PRINTSHOW in September, the second preview was organized at the IDCEE in Kiev, where we won the startup competition. We invite you at the 3D PRINTSHOW in New York in April, the event where we’ll release Kwambio and one more project we’ve been working on.

Kwambio was featured on The Times, GeekTime, 3D Printing Industry, 3D Print, etc. Our personalized and customized 3D-printed products were featured on TUAW, Mocoloco, YankoDesign, DailyArchDesign, BasilGreenPencil and TrendsNow.
